A Reflection of God’s Love – Exodus 2:1-10; Hosea 11:1-4

There are few words in the English language as beautiful as the word “mother.” It is right to honor mothers, and we do so on this day by remembering an incredible example of a mother’s love from Scripture. And in remember her example, we then reflect on how God shows his love to all of his children.

A Mighty Fortress – Psalm 46

In a Psalm that inspired Martin Luther to pen the words of the hymn “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God” we are reminded of God’s love and care for his people.  God is so great, and no enemy of man can overcome Him. And if we are on His side, we have him as our refuge and our fortress.

Jesus Loves the Little Children – Mark 10:13-16

In a rather, non-traditional message, we take the time this morning to think about Jesus (and the Father’s) love of children, and how they should be treasured, taught, and protected by God’s people.  We must do whatever we can (without committing sin) to ensure that the next generation is cared for and taught the way of the Lord.
